Tuition Information - Summer 2024

One Week Camper - $275.00

Six Week Camper - $1,500.00

We will begin registering campers for the 2024 camp season in early February (see homepage). We will only be registering campers for FULL weeks.

Camp will run Monday, June 17th through Friday, July 26th. We are open on both Juneteenth and Fourth of July. We will have a half-day on Friday, July 26th.

We have many campers who wish to attend. Please do not book a full week if you do not intend to have your child there for the full week. It is just not fair to other children.

Guests

We will not be registering day guests at all this year.

Changes and Cancellations

Please email director@missbettysdaycamp.org with any requests for changes or cancellations.

(Please note that some of this is a change from 2023).

  • All changes and cancellations are subject to a $20 change fee.
  • Refunds must be requested by April 15th, 2023 in order to receive the full refund, minus $20 fee.
  • Refunds requested between April 15th - June 1st will receive 50% refund, minus $20 fee.
  • No refunds will be given for cancellations after June 1st (medical exceptions may be made).

Waitlists and Openings

We utilize an extensive waitlist. It is integrated into the registration system. No deposit is necessary to be placed on the waitlist but you must create a registration profile and register the camper for the desired weeks at which point it will indicate whether the camper has a place or is waitlisted. You will be contacted if a spot becomes available. Waitlist lengths and openings vary considerably based on grade level and week.

Work Party Deposit

A refundable deposit of $100.00 is required to secure your child’s spot. The deposit will be returned after attending the cooperative Work Party. Only one deposit is required per family. If the deposit is a hardship to you, please email director@missbettysdaycamp.org. No deposit is necessary to be placed on the waitlist.

In the spirit of Miss Betty’s cooperative approach, all parents are required to participate in a mandatory Work Party which is scheduled prior to the opening of Camp. Date of Work Party will be announced prior to registration opening.

Payments

We accept credit card payments ONLY. This year it will be possible to pay in up to 3 installments. If additional assistance or consideration is required, please email us.

Financial Assistance

Financial assistance to attend camp is available. If Miss Betty's is a good fit for your child, we want them to enjoy their summer here with us, regardless of your ability to pay. Since we have a cooperative model there may be other ways you can contribute.

Invoices

A receipt will be needed to file for tax credit. Please print your receipt at the end of registration. A copy of your receipt can also be found by logging into your account. Our tax ID is #20-1292071
