EMPLOYMENT

ALL STAFF AND PEACE CORPS CLICK HERE TO APPLY

Peace Corps (7th Grade)

The Peace Corps (Counselor-In-Training) program is a way for 7th graders to volunteer at camp and gain leadership skills. The Peace Corps will have an assigned Counselor who will oversee the group. There will therefore be a $100 fee for each Peace Corps member who is accepted. (Details will be shared with families of those who are accepted; Financial Support is available and your ability to pay should not hinder your application).

The Peace Corps will have duties to fulfill each day, and should expect to have busy days that may include group games and tasks, physical work around the camp, and time working with younger campers. Individual Peace Corps members will rotate between weeks where their focus is helping with a children's tent group, a specialty tent, or a task group. Focus will also be given to group activities that foster skills necessary for working with children, that develop leadership, and that benefit the natural environment. Peace Corps should be able to attend 4 out of 6 weeks.

Peace Corps applications will be open January 21st - March 1st, utilizing Campbrain software system. Applicants will be notified of a decision at the beginning of April. Applications will only be accepted after March 1st if space allows, however we expect this group to fill quickly. Applicants should complete the ENTIRE APPLICATION THEMSELVES. A parents email address may be used if necessary.

  • First and last name
  • Address
  • Parent/Guardian contact information including name, email, phone number
  • Dates available (Camp will operate from June 17th to July 26th).
